Since 2019, BYJU'S has been offering innovative and engaging new learning formats for students in the K-3 segment and enabling them to enjoy learning from a young age. Through strong partnerships and acquisitions such as Osmo, Epic, and WhiteHat Jr, among others, BYJU'S early learn category offerings have expanded to include 'phygital' learning - a seamless blend of online and offline, collaborative learning, digital reading, gamified approaches to lessons, etc to further accelerate and transform learning for young learners.

The business has been going through a sustained growth and expansion throughout India and in the global markets and aims to impact formative learning for 50 million students though its product and service offerings. The BU houses close to 2500 people across multiple departments, functions, and working on next phase of organic/inorganic growth in India and global markets.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AVP/VP of Marketing to direct and oversee our Marketing department for the business. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. Our ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of promotional projects end-to-end, including paid advertising campaigns and digital marketing techniques in consumer tech or consumer product companies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness

- Set current and long-term goals for internal teams

- Design and review the Marketing department's budget

- Build relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies

- Monitor all marketing campaigns and improve them when necessary

- Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly

- Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the Business Head

- Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth

- Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events

- Forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department

- Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of the company's objectives

- Track competitors' activities.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a VP/AVP of Marketing or Marketing Director.

- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns

- Solid knowledge of SEO, web analytics, and Google AdWords

- Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques

- Strong leadership skills

- Excellent communications skills

- Strong analytical and project management skills

- Strategic mindset, with the ability to make difficult decisions

- Masters degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
