Buying Manager - Kids Fashion

The Manager - Buyer (Kids) plays a crucial role in the organization. This role is responsible for building range, driving profitable sales, managing inventory, and vendor relationships to ensure the category assortment meets the needs of our target customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Be on top of Industry: Product market fit. Market Knowledge, consumer understanding what do customers buy and why.

- Stay on top of changing trends.

- Range planning: Range build along with design, expand categories basis selection requirement.

- Selection: Thorough selection. Work closely with the category, sourcing teams to ensure right stock availability.

- Product Communication: Create consumer centric catalogue that helps improve conversion.

- Plan: deliver on growth (Volume, Value) in alignment with Internal Category teams.

- Costing: Work closely with sourcing team & have capability to dependently negotiate costing with vendors.

- Quality: Own the quality scores (Ratings, reviews return). Work closely with Quality to take regular consumer feedback and improve scores.

- Thorough Product Understanding- ability to develop and guide product development with design & fit technician.

- Financial Analysis: Sales, Margin, Discount Sell Thru etc. Work in close alignment with planning team to manage portfolio pricing, intake & realized margins.

- Option Planning- OTB Working across Channels.

- Post Season Analysis implementation for future seasons across channel.

- Competition Mapping.
