Business Unit Head (Specialty Chemicals Trading)

1. Responsible for business generation, revenue generation.

2. Good understanding of volatile markets their dynamics.

3. As a team leader, inculcate a strong inclusive bond with all stake holders.

4. Identify, establish and implement successfully for organizational growth, opportunities as guided by the vision.

5. Continually evolve and evaluate various strategic options (long/medium/short) and initiatives, aligning business needs accordingly.

6. All strategic options / initiatives must be effectively analysed in all aspects to ensure successful, time bound and cost-effective implementation.

7. To ensure profitability of the organization.

8. Aligning strategies in accordance with business need, effectively analysing the external environment on markets and commodities.

9. Compliance to all government/s and internal policies / requirements

Operational and Strategic Responsibilities:

1. Set and drive targets on price levels, net sales, margin contribution and market share and activities cross the organization.

2. Monitor and map external factors like; macro drivers, competitor activities and global import/export affecting overall supply/demand balance.

3. Lead and drive a continuous dialogue with sales to track and drive customer developments, challenges & opportunities.

4. Active participation in achieving monthly/quarterly sales numbers, forecast vs inventory ratio and provide a summary dashboard on financial delivery.

5. Develop product strategies based on current and future market fit, competitive environment and business priorities in alignment with Strategic Markets & Innovation for strategic segments.

6. Set and follow up on targets and action plans to execute on strategic product promotion.

7. Participate actively in the development and implementation of sales and distribution strategy.

8. Develop and optimize existing product portfolio, adhering to business sustainability goals.

9. Participate in important exhibition / seminars / conferences and represent organisations product and service offerings.

10. Broaden customer interface creating relations with existing business.
