Business Unit Head - Specialty business
- The incumbent will be responsible for setting up the sales and marketing organization for the concerned BU of the company
- Must have strong channel management, pricing and forecasting experience of relevant therapy area - Driving a P&L (top line and bottom line) of the business
- Direct marketing and sales activities to ensure that short and long range sales volumes and projects are achieved
- Leading commercial discussions with Business Development teams to forge new opportunities or initiate new business models. Also, coordinating and planning with supply chain teams to develop product supply and delivery
- Responsible for achieving the top line and bottom-line targets of the Business Unit as per the India acceleration plan
- Develop strategies and programs to gain leadership position in the participated segment/s through product portfolio enhancement, market penetration, consumer education programs.
- Garner significant market share as well as prescription share for the portfolio by strengthening credibility with KOLs, develop educational relationships with the top KOLs in India including educational conferences, etc.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales operation team on field force deployment, productivity enhancement and stability of field force.
- Coordinate with Demand fulfilment team to ensure availability of products at identified stock points. - Responsible for maintaining direct marketing expenses within budgets and brand profitability.
Desired Criteria :
- Post graduate in Marketing Management with graduation in medicine, science, pharmaceuticals.
- Experience in developing and implementing brand plans of existing/new products, managing niche sales force and medium sized business units successfully.
- Successfully led high performing Sales Teams
- String experience in Super speciality segment (Oncology / Cardio / Diabetes / CNS etc.) is a must.
