The BU Head Food Services will be responsible for managing the P&L for the vertical. The ideal candidate will be a Techno Commercial MNC professional with good understanding of the Food sector(B2B) with good networking with regulatory bodies such as FPO,FSSAI etc associated with the Food Industry. He/She should be able to manage a team size of 100+ people. The incumbent should have a total work experience of 15-20 years with 4-5 years of essentially managing a Profit Centre.
Strategic Planning
- Creating and delivering on the annual business plan for the Business Line.
- Understanding of Service operations (business and laboratory) and continuous improvements to drive operational excellence
- Lead short and long term organizational and strategy Planning
- Deciding business expansion and enhancement strategies
Operations
- Process controls, workflow to reduce wastages, eliminate process redundancy and maximize productivity without compromising the protocols and the ethics.
- Create and review business data related to TAT, samples, man hours, quality of reports, customer feedback to improve operational efficiency and quality of service.
- Control all associated operational and related costs accordingly to the prevailing annual budget forecast.
- Resource planning and allocation
- To identify opportunities for simplification & improvement to drive consistent technical standards and maximize efficiency of the food certification & testing operations.
He/She will be responsible for setting up of Labs, recruitment of personnel, enabling certifications, accreditations and recognition for the lab.
