Antal is looking for a Business Unit Head for Food and Nutrition business of a leading MNC distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients

Business Management

- Will be responsible for Business deliverables.

- Manage Profit Before Tax for the Business Unit

- Formulating business plans and ensure execution to increase Business revenue and targets consistent with the best growth rates in the industry.

- Metrics to be met for operations as well as new business development.

- Provide Business Analytics to guide strategy & decision making.

- Show Leadership potential to give right direction to the growth of business.

- Responsible for working capital management and maintain Key data achievement.

Supplier & Customer

- Lead and manage key supplier relationships - at business level coordinating with General

Manager's support as needed.

- Maintain healthy customer and supplier relationship with true spirit of professionalism.

Team Management

- Provide direction to sales for driving process, efficiencies and accountabilities within the sales group.

- Guide all the sale person to achieve their annual budgets and target.

- Keeping harmony inside BU and responsible for appraisal / performance of TEAM.

- To identify needs of training and coaching of the team members.

Market Strategy

- To lead and tighten the go to market process for Food & Nutrition Division (Food Ingredients, Dairy and Nutraceuticals) which means coordinating with the lab, marketing and Sales to position offerings based on customer segmentation and driving up commercialisation.

- Continuously identify product needs and secure new principals to fill the portfolio gaps and expand the business laterally.

COMPETENCIES

1. Overall 12+ years of strong sales, business development & technical experience in Specialty chemicals in Food Industry (B2B).

2. 7- 8 years of experience in managerial and team handling experience.

3. Candidates with marketing and sales leadership exposure and from MNC backgrounds preferably.

4. Candidates who have worked with customer facing industries like FMCG will be preferred.

5. Strong network of business contacts within the industry and should be bringing in established contacts with research and purchase team of major customers.

6. Proven track record in business development / commercialisation .

7. Integrity - Display professionalism and integrity when carrying out his / her responsibilities. Does the right thing when nobody's looking. Honest in all internal and external customer relations. Exhibits ethical and moral behavior in everyday business conduct. Is as straightforward as possible in all situations. Treating others with respect.

8. Relationships - Builds and sustains professional working relationships. Makes the effort to know a variety of people in the organization. Establishes effective working partnerships with all internal and external parties.
