Roles & Responsibilities :

Role :

As a Business Unit Head, you'll work closely with the core team, customers, and service ops team to build and own a new Business Unit that will focus on delivering a digital service to small and medium enterprises in mature markets, in one of the identified focus areas. You will conduct deep data driven research to identify & discover new opportunities, plan, build a team and turn that opportunity into a highly scalable business unit.

Who Are You ?

- You have a passion for building something new, are intrinsically curious, have a strong sense of ownership, and are excited about working on something that could impact millions of people.

- You've built a company before or were an early employee at a fast-growing startup on the business/customer side

- You are a self-starter and can get things done by going into depth across multiple business functions

What Will You Do?

- Discover opportunities where new business can be built in the space of Digital Outsourcing

- Work closely with early customers to ideate/build/validate to find product market fit

- Work with operations team to productize & design the service delivery process

- Build and design the GTM strategy and own the demand generation

- Own hiring across all key functions as the Business Unit scales

- Build and own the business & financial model

What to look for?

- Raw smarts, generalists who have entrepreneurial aspirations, between 3 to 8 years of experience.

- People with relevant experience, who want to be entrepreneurs but don't want to take the risk, who want to work @ market salaries but with full independence.

- Ex-founders in between jobs, who have either shut down or are looking to exit, but willing to try a 4 - 6 months trial. Basically, come in and try out building, and see if we like working with each other

Detailed note on role expectation:

- Looking for folks who can work with the team in identifying micro niche opportunities in the few broad areas the team has already identified.

- Role will majorly involve market discovery, identifying opportunities, talking to customers, validating the problem statement, finding out insights, bringing it back to the core team.

- BU Heads will work closely with the operations team to build subject matter processes from ground up.

- Background of founding team, somebody who worked on the GTM strategy, either in a startup or even in a consulting business (Deloitte, EY, Pwc etc) can be considered.

- People who have worked with customers of Big4, BCG, McKinsey to identify new market opportunities. (Candidates with purely BD background are not suitable).

- Folks who have people first mentality (This is not a SaaS product, Service & People comes first)

- Need to resonate with the vision and team.

- Someone with an entrepreneurial hat who has built businesses or worked in teams that have built new businesses who are young and aspirational preferred. (Ex founders with bad exits do not really work).
