Key Responsibilties

This role is for a consulting professional with experience in BSS design and implementation. The role will provide expertise to help clients design and implement solutions to improve their existing BSS support systems or help optimize the efficiency and efficacy of these systems to provide improved business benefits

Project Delivery: Work in teams to deliver projects for global client, and responsible for:

- Create functional Blueprints of BSS processes

- Requirement assessment and Functional gap analysis

- Core understanding of strengths and limitations of key Billing / BSS COTS; Orchestration engines and OM/fulfillment products

- Ensure alignment of processes to industry standards

- Understanding the as-is process and design detail level to-be process with all stakeholders.

- Audit end-to-end process flows from a customer perspective

- Understand customer needs and translate them to business requirements

- Prepare Operational Impact Analysis and business cases to analyze the project in terms of cost and FTE

- Respond to RFI and RFPs

- Provide inputs on best practices, industry leading solutions

- Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the CMT practice

- Develop points-of-view, research or white papers on process transformation & process enhancements, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals;

Experience Required:

Specific relevant experiences will include:

- 8-14 years or of progressive industry and/or consulting experience

- Telecom industry background experience and knowledge Fulfillment and assurance systems and processes

- Consulting or functional experience for operators / service providers along with the following skills

- Functional analysis of existing Fulfillment and assurance systems

- Knowledge of Amdocs, Oracle, Comverse solution suites

- Gap Analysis Study to identify improvement and/or simplification areas

- Hands on experience in several of the following areas

- CRM functional expertise

- Billing operations management

- Product catalogue

- Provisioning, activation and other order management

- Assurance (including but not limited to Fault management, SLA management, trouble ticketing, problem handling)

- Workforce management

- Inventory management

- Working knowledge of standards such as eTOM

- Techno-Functional knowledge COTS preferred (Oracle, Amdocs, Comverse etc)

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Good Listening skills

- Experience working with “C” level executive clients preferred

- MBA from a Tier 1/ Tier 2 B-school

- Global exposure.

Other Details

- Travel - Ability to accommodate very significant domestic and international travel – upto 90%
