Business SME Manager - Finance - CA - FMCG

Client- Large FMCG MNC - Bangalore

3 year fixed term contract

Role - In an era when Finance processes are more and more centralised, the need for insightful analytics is even stronger. The role essentially involves Designing Analytics solutions for the Finance function. Beyond designing, the responsibility is to ensure that the solutions are developed and deployed.

Purpose of the role:

- The purpose of the job is to create stronger analytics that will enable the Finance function to find insights & actions with the objective of getting to Material facts quickly, to Identifying Opportunities and to secure Forecasts by building range of scenarios & identify actions- Leading deployment of different Global solutions agenda in Fusion & U2K2 Landscapes.

- Delivering through others and influencing 3rd parties

- Support change management activities

- Managing tactical solutions and working on Global solutions agenda.

- Solution design involving deciding upon the IT tool (eg Tableau), right level of granularity in the solution for decision making.

- Translation of business need (requirement) into processes and tools with goal of either to make information available and/or to simplify/automate how information is made available/produced to the client.

- Lead retrofit activities in the various Landscapes on account of new initiatives.

- Adopting new techniques like Cloud, Automated Testing, Agile ways of working.

- Ensuring that risks like solution failure are adequately covered by involving the right stakeholders at the right time.

Key Skills: - The Candidate should be a Chartered Accountant.

- The role demands 5+ years of functional experience in Finance Information Management (e.g. Management Reporting, SC Finance, CD Finance, Product Costing, Financial Reporting).

- Inter-personal skills are a must as there are several stakeholders the role has to deal with

- Communication should be strong as there will be stakeholders to convince on concept, design, etc.
