Business Planning Manager - Channel PAN India
Summary: The incumbent will be responsible for business planning and performance analysis across channels. In addition, identifying and driving key initiatives across all channels towards building efficiencies. The person will own entire initiative and will have accountability of results envisaged as per the project plan. Manage the assigned channels as a central SPOC for all support levers
Role/ responsibilities :
1. Timely execution of projects assigned.
2) Proactive identification of projects within the department in line with company Goals for the year
3) Collaborate across channels to create a business plan for each distribution channel
4) Collaborate across sales, HR, BI for finalising KPI, outlier metrics
5) Participation in identified strategic initiatives
6) Own and drive key functional initiatives
7) Variable budget management
8) Conduct analysis of various levers across distribution and present corrective actions
9) Conduct competition benchmarking to indentify best practices across all lines of business
10) Measurement of project impact on key matrices
11) Regulatory compliance Eg.: CROM, e-score points etc
Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Excel (formulas, macros etc)
- Communication Skills
- High expertise on power point presentations
- Analytical skills Know how of statistical tools such as R, SAS
Experience:
- 8-10 years of sales experience in life insurance
- Qualification : Post Graduate (Finance)
- Should be very well versed with insurance industry, especially in sales development / channel development
