Business Origination Role

Business Origination person with orientation towards Advisory (Debt and Equity) & Investment banking career to join our team in Mumbai.

This role reports to the CEO.

Candidate shall be responsible for:

- Origination and execution of end to end DCM, ECM, Debt Restructuring, Private Equity and M&A deals.

- Develop a pipeline of deals that match client interest areas.

- Maintain market intelligence of investment opportunities.

- Making pitch and Cred presentation to prospects.

- Business development for target sectors.

- Building relationships with key decision makers in the companies.

- Tracking key developments in the Corporate sector.

- Is proactive and self-starter.

- Is collaborative and a team player.

Ideally you'll also have:

- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, Industry Knowledge.

- Willing to work in a start-up environment, where a lot more onus is on "ownership". Actively get involved at every stage of the transaction, working closely with middle / senior management teams - leading the transaction until it gets closed (client visits, meetings, bilateral discussions, commercial negotiations, due diligence, transaction).

Desired experience:

- MBA (preferably from a premier institute) or CA/CFA with a good academic background.

- Experience in Deal Origination and Sourcing in DCM, ECM, Private Equity and M&A.

- Total experience to be in the range of 10-12 years
