Education Requirement:
- MBA from a premier Institution and BE (CS, Electronics & telecom)
Preference: AVSI, AV/Pro AV/ IT Sales
- Excellent track record of selling AV, Digital Signage, IT solutions
- Must have 6 to 9 yrs of experience in selling of Audio-Video products, Professional Display systems, Video Conferencing or conferencing systems, IT products.
- Opportunity generation, Proposal & Deal follow-up / closure, Partner Development, Partner Activation, Marketing, Strategic Alliance
Role & Responsibilities:
Strategic role:
- Develops a systematic approach for a deep understanding of the Customer’s business and IT/AV/Signage/VC/Display system priorities and relates to company products and solution (Strategic Account Plan)
- To understand and anticipate Customers’ existing and future needs in depth and communicate this within team as well as organization .
Operational role:
- Build and maintain relationships at the HOD / GMs of Divisions / CXOs of Corporate, Government, IT & AV consultants and SIer’s.
- Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities
- Sell-in and sell-out and optimal stock responsibility
- Position company offerings to win sales opportunities by executing and communicating effective selling strategies.
- Build strong customer relationships by consistently setting realistic expectations early in each sales cycle and meeting or exceeding those expectations through successful execution.
- Drive lead generation through various marketing activities, cold calling and networking.
- Developing sales plan, prospecting / identification of opportunities, customer presentations, managing RFI / RFP responses, and winning opportunities with continuous interface with Pre-sales, Delivery teams.
- Develop and communicate account strategy in consultation with Sales Management
- Continuously gather knowledge of competitors and their activities within the Account, and how to effectively position our solutions against them.
- Developing relationship with Architects, Consultant and Preventive maintenance Contracts (PMC) to develop/grow business
- Assist in eliciting and specifying high-level business requirement specifications of the client for proposal preparation and project plan.
