Business Management/Business Manager/Business Head Role

Business Management Role

Brief Profile:

- Will be owning and responsible to drive one of the Business Vertical in the organization

- Planning and execution to maintain profitability of the Business Unit

- Owning the Profit and Loss responsibility for the business, with a constant focus on profitability and margins

- Leading product planning and strategy, marketing, identifying ideas of converting them into successful products

- Identifying and forging strategic alliances for new business opportunities, Content acquisition & alliancing

- Manage all aspects of the business unit - operations, product road mapping, sales and support

- Own the business unit's revenue targets and work constructively with Sales to achieve them

- Lead and hand-hold Operations towards business deliverables and Engineering for product road mapping

- Ensure a balanced revenue contribution across customers.

- Appropriate monetization from all customers

- Meet clients continuously and personally monitor customer viewpoint and requirements

- Create marketing collateral and provide necessary training to sales teams

- To create and improve internal processes and enhance efficiency

Skills Required:

- P&L responsibility in a B2B environment

- Know-how of customer behavior

- Aggressive number driven to achieve targets

- Want to upgrade to P/L ownership

- P/L ownership for consumer services

- The person should be expert of customer acquiring, retaining and upselling using non traditional media

- Sound knowledge of Mobile Content Business.

- The person should have prior experience of Mobile/ Internet Content/Telecom

- Ability to work in a true matrix-organization

- Ability and will to work ground-up with all levels of the organization. Ability to work in a true matrix-organization - mostly owning deliverables of people who do not report to you

- Ability and will to work ground-up with all levels of the organization

- Conflict and stress management

- Relationship management

Leadership - be able to get work done from people not reporting to you
