Business Intelligence Analyst - Budget Hotel Chain

- As a Business Intelligence Analyst your role will be largely around making use to data and common sense to solve business challenges and drive growth. You will get cross functional exposure and will work on projects across functions. The key aspects of the role include:

- Understand business problems and questions, as well as gain insights through data discovery and share interpretations and perspectives to help business teams with achieve their goals

- Analyzing trends related to traffic, engagement, and sales on the site (specific to products, pages and overall site)

- Working closely with sales team and supporting them with data, dashboards & analysis

- Analyzing customer behavior and their lifetime value (Buying patterns and decision making factors)

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Filter and clean data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

- Suggest Analytics for user interactions and drive programs using user event analytics.

- Run analytics with marketing or social media data to establish patterns.

- Develop the ability to work in a variety of business areas and data domains and move easily from one to another.

- Maintain knowledge of emerging trends and utilize this knowledge to educate stakeholders of opportunities to provide data analytics solutions that support and drive the business.

Candidate Profile :

- Engineering degree from a reputed college/ university

- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

- Excellent with crunching numbers on Excel

- Work experience of 0-3 years in a leading analytics/ consulting/ strategy/ startup role

- Proven work experience in digital marketing a plus, but not mandatory

- Highly presentable and polished communicator

- Ability to perform in a team as well as individually

- High on energy and passion for learning while achieving organisational goals

- Should have a streak of entrepreneurship and a vision of growth with the company

Salary Offered : 8-10 LPA
