The Head of Business for Mumbai is a member of the executive team for the company and is responsible for strategy, structure, budgets, people, financial outcomes and scorecard metrics.

This role reports to a Founder of the company and is responsible to build the largest market for the company in India. The person in this role will be involved as a decision maker in all large decisions that are pertaining to short term and long term plans for the company, cost / budget decisions, organization structure & manpower plans, technology & product vision. While the key requirement of their role is to ensure that Mumbai region is, delivering as planned; the individual will also have clear responsibility, impact & influence in all areas that impact the success of the organization. They operate as custodian and owners of company culture and ability of each department to effectively work with one another. Individual at this level will be held 100% accountable for the success of the organization. This is a leadership pipeline position and as the organization grows this role will grow in expectations & complexity.

The Key responsibility areas are as follows:

- Develops strategic plan by understanding the technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; creating strategies, plans & objectives for the region.

- Ensures implementation of the strategy designed to grow the business. Develops, reviews, updates and implements plans for sales, financial performance, people performance and new product development.

- Communicates strategy and results to the region's employees and drives performance of the team to meet or exceed planned objectives.

- Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.

- Reviews and approves preparation of accounting analysis for budgetary planning and implementation, production efficiency, financial reporting, budgetary planning and submittal for capital expenditures for the region.

- Increases team's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives; developing a climate for offering information and opinions; providing development & growth opportunities.

- Grows the region, makes important decisions about sales approach and network development while also leveraging the strengths of NestAway's team to deliver the high-quality, high-impact work that makes up the core of company's reputation.

- Drives high quality customer experience in the region.

- Participates in formulating and administering overall organizational strategic planning & growth frameworks. Develop & implements long-range company goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives for the long term.

- Provides inputs to engineering and product to impact the company technology design concepts or new technology used for new or existing business to drive cost reduction, safety, better customer experience and market growth.

- Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
