Business Head-UAV
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- This position will identify and develop new adjacencies, new markets and new customers to drive growth for our existing & future products. Forge new strategic partnerships to promote growth.
- Target and evaluate M&A opportunities. Identify and attend relevant industry trade shows in identifying new customers and partners. Drive ideation process to fuel breakthrough growth at current and new customer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Create strategic business opportunities through regular meetings with key influencers in Defence and Enterprise vertical
- Work closely with the internal teams and support functions to creatively develop ongoing Sales scripting whether for Cold Calling, Emails, Presentations, Public-Speaking Engagements, Testimonials, White Papers, RFP's & unique proposals.
- Create entry barriers for competition by developing regions in collaboration with Vertical Heads through timely inputs and ring-fencing against external poaching/attrition.
- Driving business numbers and profitability through timely strategic interventions
- Develop workable sales budgets/plans for the specific sales channel and establish implementation plans and realistic cost structures in partnership with Vertical Heads
- Responsible for creating a channel's vision and cost structure while providing strategic leadership, accountability, and mentorship to the overall channel strategy.
- Develop in collaboration with the Marketing / Product team, innovative and / or differentiating products, campaign and events for business growth and motivation of sales associates.
- Develop integrated Sales & Marketing strategies and tactical plans to meet and exceed the business goals.
- Monitoring and enforcing new business risk and constraints (schedule/scope/resources)
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION :
- Bachelors/ Master's degree with 20+ years Sales & BD out of which 5 yrs of experience as Short Service Commissioned Officer in Army, Navy or Air Force is preferred
- Rich experience in Sales & BD and candidate having experience in B2B or B2G sales can be considered
- Strong technical skills with the ability to dive deep on relevant technologies key to the industry.
- Background in business thought leadership, as well as knowledge in the areas of leadership, organizational culture and managing people.
- Experience of managing large teams, interpersonal communication skills, and expert customer relationship skills
- Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
