The role involves extensive overseas travel for business development, client relationship and project management. a) Generate client leads in key target markets for selling software product license, related implementation and consulting services to financial services industry. b) Following up new business opportunities and being in constant touch with the client to understand requirements, and to migrate towards proposal submission c) Setting up existing and new client meetings for business development. d) Understanding requirements in detail and work with Director - business development to draft proposals, content reviews, scope, coverage, pricing, formatting etc. e) Understanding formal Requests for Proposal (RFPs), process of RFP submission, plan RFP response content development, coordinate internally with various stakeholders for finalization of response to RFP, submission process etc. f} Setting up meetings with relevant decision makers and influencers, follow up on requirements, proposals, to ensure deal closure. g) Exploring new clients in existing markets where the company has customers and product implementations. h) Explore additional opportunities with existing clients and understand their requirements. i) Preparing business development material covering company and product presentations, finalization and printing of brochures, coordinate with vendors for design and printing, j) In consultation with management, prepare key website updates and coordinate internally / externally with development team for implementation. k) Pre and post-sales support including client expectations management. l) Creating and maintaining enough sales leads at any point in time so as to work towards finalization of business. m) Project management and oversee implementation processes as part of client relationship management. n) Review project deliverables to ensure these are in line with scope and client expectations. o) Explore client change requests for minor and major modifications to existing systems and offerings during and post project implementation / go live - Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 to 20 years' experience in marketing, sales, business development or customer relationship management for financial services, banking, software products or technology services to banking / financial services industry. Exposure to overseas clients an added advantage. - Education: MBA with specialization in Finance, Marketing or Master's in Economics, Finance, Banking, Information Technology or related field or Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant or equivalent. Following are key skills required: 1. Understanding of risk management in financial services industry with special focus on banking. 2. Awareness and working knowledge of Basel Committee Banking Supervision |BCBS) guidelines on capital adequacy, liquidity, market risk, IFRS 9 provisioning and other related global regulatory guidelines on risk management issued from time to time. 3. Capability to explore and develop new client relationships - contact and connect with key people in organizations, including maintaining such relationship. 4. Understanding of financial services / banking industry in Middle East / South East Asia/ India will be helpful and an advantage. 3. Sales and pre-sales skills to follow up on new business opportunities, being in constant touch with client to understand requirements, and to migrate towards proposal submission. 6. Setting up existing and new client meetings for Director - Business development. 7. Understanding client requirements in detail and work with Director - business development to draft proposals, content reviews, scope, coverage, pricing, formatting etc.
