JD :   Strategise & prepare budget for sales & based on sales plan, process the merchandise mix and orders, coordinate with the India team for all activities including marketing and lead the development of brand, Identify and develop new scope for business expansion; plan, organise and direct operations of brand WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF driving the business development and operational efficiency to make brand one of the key businesses of company WITHIN the guidelines and vision of the organization   Understand vision of the Business; Scan external market to understand changing market conditions; Derive future strategy for business; Identify new opportunities (new markets, products etc.) for business expansion; Identify prospective tie-up; Prepare plan (number of retail outlets, manpower requirements, revenue targets etc.) and budget; Guide team to implement activities according to plan; Review progress against plans; Track expenses against budget; Analyse deviations and take corrective actions in order to develop and drive a strategy for the business to achieve the set vision.  Establish review mechanisms to track performance of business; Review metrics regularly to identify any deviations; Meet with team periodically to understand issues faced at different stores; Monitor costs and identify deviations against budget; Provide resolutions and direct team to implement corrective action; Consolidate information across plants and identify trends; Leverage information to identify opportunities for improvements in current processes; Direct team to implement improvements; Interact with store head and area managers to understand and resolve their issues in order to monitor and enhance the sales and customer satisfaction at the stores.  Close coordination with Mall Management teams & Store owners to ensure smooth operations and to continously look for new options / properties for new store launch  Identify vacant positions and share details of vacancies with HR; Interview shortlisted candidates and finalise candidates; Set objective goals and evaluate performance of team members; Recommend for promotions; Coach, train, mentor and develop the team; Nominate team members for trainings; Conduct regular team meetings to guide team on issues and resolve escalated conflicts in order to build a high performing and motivated team.  Education & Relevant Experience : MBA / Post Graduate in Marketing / Sales  20 - 25 years work experience in Footwear Industry  Knowledge of Footwear Industry;  Knowledge of statutory guidelines and government regulations;  Knowledge of financial planning.   Knowledge of Retail Operations
