Business Head - Retail

We are looking for a professional with entrepreneurial spirit, who can run the existing retail business successfully and scale it up.

Roles and responsibility of the Business Manager/Head will include:

1. Business strategy and implementation: formulate the business strategy for Shopbox, work on its road map and implement same at the ground level to ensure desired outcome.

2. Business operations: handle important business activities for smooth functioning of the business to ensure short term earnings at the same time keeping the business operations aligned with long term goal of the organization.

3. Business development: Scaling up and develop business by creating alliances and signing up new Kirana shops to grow existing network of retailers throughout the geography assigned (Bangalore to start with).

4. Market innovation: bring in new ideas and marketing schemes to incentivize retailers and motivate them to join the network. A good level of understanding at consumer and retailer level is required to innovate the market.

5. Team management: build and manage a team sales and marketing professionals to deliver organizational objectives.

6. Stakeholder management and reporting: manage relationship with all the stakeholders and maintain a well-organized reporting system to keep the investors updated about the progress at ground level.

Note:-

1. The ideal candidate will be someone with overall 8-12 years of experience. Candidates with prior experience in online retailing businesses will be preferred.

2. Experience minimum 2-5 years of experience in retail, eCommerce industry in similar role

3.Candidates with experience in online groceries segment will be preferred.
