THE JOB : - Prodentify has been mandated to search for a seasoned, top playing professional to head-up the Rural &amp; Inclusive Banking business at a leading private sector bank in India that has a strong Rural foothold. - The job is an A-Team role and shall entail leading the P&amp;L, Operations, Sales and Customer Care functions for the Rural Banking business, ensuring that business reasonably diversifies in rural areas &amp; smaller towns, thus letting the bank increase its orbit of inclusiveness beyond just urban India, in a sustained manner. - Based out of Mumbai, the job shall entail extensively travelling to all parts of India. Those who've been in sales/business development related jobs in the recent past are likely to highly suit this requirement. - Leading a network of pan India branches and a large team of senior, mid &amp; junior staff will be a crucial part of the job. Excellent people leading skills, along with the ability to mentor &amp; motivate are a must have. IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE : - Ideally in his 40s, the professional would currently be playing the role of a head or second-in-command of rural banking at a well-doing private sector bank in India and should've been in such position for at least 3 years in continuity. - The earlier years of the person's experience should ideally have been all-round i.e. across operations, branch banking/retail banking, strategy, third-party products, business banking and so forth. In short, a generalist leader who recently went on to specialize in Rural Banking through the course of the last few years, will make an ideal candidate.
