Business Head
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Head to lead a specific category within our organization. The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, and profit and loss (P&L) management, particularly in the pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, infant nutrition, or OTC business segments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive category strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of category objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
- Drive product innovation and development initiatives to meet evolving customer needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor and manage category P&L to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the category team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to anticipate and respond to market changes effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and P&L management, preferably in the pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, infant nutrition, or OTC business sectors.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levels.
