Job Title : Business Head - Personal Loans | Large Conglomerate

Job Summary :

- As the Personal Loans Head, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of the personal loan portfolio by formulating and executing business strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing the end-to-end personal loan lifecycle.

- This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the financial services industry and a proven track record in managing and growing personal loan products.

About the Client : Our client is a large conglomerate having financial services offerings across domestic and international geographies, and have developed various product suits across lending and insurance domains.

Key Responsibilities :

- Responsible for managing the P&L for personal loans, driving growth and management.

- Build strategic partnerships with Banking / NBFC partners for the portfolio.

- Collaborate with the risk team to define appropriate risk parameters and influence the risk team to help grow the business sustainably.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and expand the personal loan product offering, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

- Develop and implement robust risk management practices, ensuring effective credit assessment, fraud prevention, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to position the organisation as a competitive player in the personal loan segment.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and technology teams, to ensure seamless and efficient personal loan operations.

- Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory standards and internal policies governing personal loan origination, servicing, and collections.

- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience in personal loan transactions, from application to repayment.

The successful applicant :

- MBA in Finance / General Management preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 colleges (preferred).

- At least 10+ years of proven experience in a leadership role within the financial services industry, with a focus on personal loans.

- In-depth knowledge of credit risk management, regulatory compliance, and industry best practices.

- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a personal loan portfolio.

- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Familiarity with fintech trends and emerging technologies in the financial services sector.

- Experience in collaborating with technology teams for the development of digital lending platforms.
