- Devising the sales budget & targets (product wise & monthly) in order to achieve overall business plan
- Strategize & implement business development to ensure the profitability of the business as per the business plan
- Building an effective distribution channel.
- Represents all products of the client & interface with the key customers not only to ensure business continuity, but also to gain major market share
- Engages technical team proactively by providing them market feedback to resolve customer complaints related to quality in order to achieve highest level of customer satisfaction
- Engages technical team to constantly focus on product mix in order to achieve better margins without compromising on quality
- Interfaces proactively with other functions like Production, Buying to optimize cost, better quality & delivery on time
- Receivables Management in order to secure positive cash flow & meeting the targets set for it
- Responsible for building a team and handling them professionally-all the people related matters, partnering with HR for hiring as per the need, performance evaluation & their development to ensure people motivation & retention
Candidate profile:
- Properly Qualified, either a B.sc Chemistry or a Paint technologist, Age Early 40, around 15+ years experience,
- Business Head for atleast 3-4 years,
- Africa experience added advantage,
- He must be a TECHNO COMMERCIAL ( Not just a Sales Background)
