Position Title : Business Head

Location : Mumbai

Reports to : Director

Objective of this role: To contribute to business growth through different sales activities which are aligned with business expectation and supporting stakeholders towards common goal of the organization

Role and Responsibilities :

- To deliver the budgeted top line revenue and contribution margins targets for the cluster through both project and retail sales.

- Assist in development of current and long-term organizational goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures.

- To set priorities among different goals and review the progress periodically.

- Development of team's sales action plans and forecasting.

- Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.

- Responsible for identifying opportunities for growth and devise sales strategies to capture them.

- Evaluate market trends to modify strategies that will enhance revenues and profitability.

- To gain market share by appointing dealers in unrepresented towns and low share geographies. Fortify high share geographies.

- To build and maintain good rapport with top dealers and ensures customer satisfaction / build loyalty.

- To foresee potential threats from competition and devise counter strategies to avoid and overcome them.

- Responsible for setting and monitoring performance metrics for individuals and teams.

- To be a change leader to align the teams thinking to meet the challenges of the dynamic market environment.

- To motivate the team to undertake difficult challenges which will bring better results for the organization.

- To create and maintain a culture of openness and transparency for free flow of information.

- To coordinate and get things done with various other functions for the team to deliver results in line with company polices and guidelines

- To be as an ambassador for the company to communicate all the initiatives, changes and expectations of the organization to the market. Also understand the expectations of the market and communicate the same to senior management for taking timely actions.

Skills and Characteristics :

- Strategic planning - to develop and enact long-term growth strategies & high-level view of company goals and objectives to drive business growth

- Operations enhancement -should be able to enhance efficiency and collaboration between business lines. Must have knowledge about drywall systems and other interior building materials. Additional to that, Good knowledge of Ms. Office

- Team handling & coordination - to build and effectively lead cross-functional teams. Must have handled teams for at least 6+ years.

- Communication skills - written and verbal communication are both vital to prepare proposals and present ideas to executives to enhance business performance.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Preferable master's in business management with 15+ years of experience

- Experience in Office furniture industry is a MUST
