Specific KSAs are needed in performing this role. The right attitude to join the startup and to take business next level an individual who has taken the responsibility for the P&L activities and then at least handled Min Two Zones in India though PAN-India is preferable.

Job Description :

The Business Unit Head will have overall responsibility for the P&L for Company product portfolio with regards to sales and marketing activities. Currently, the company sells their newborn and child products through private hospital pharmacies, with international partners such as UNICEF, USAID, and African and Asian government and through online portals, and with domestic and international distributors. Depending on your experience, you may also be accountable for Companies government Business activities.

Core Responsibilities :

- Oversee multiple revenue streams and product lines for the organization. Accountable for the overall P&L for the revenue generating portions of the business.

Sales Responsibilities Includes :

- Develop sales and business development cycles for various revenue streams.

- Hire, manage and grow sales and marketing teams for various channels.

- Establish and revise/update the training scheme for the internal employees and distributor's sales staff.

- Manage key distribution partners.

- Forge business outcome-oriented partnerships within India and internationally.

Marketing Responsibilities Include :

- Oversee go-to-market strategies for different product/market opportunities.
