Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the knitwear division in alignment with the company's overarching goals.
- Identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics to capitalize on growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, retailers, and distributors to drive sales and expand market reach.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and adjust strategies as necessary to optimize results.
Product Development and Innovation:
- Collaborate with design and production teams to develop a diverse and appealing range of knitwear products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and innovations to enhance product offerings and maintain competitiveness.
- Ensure product quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery in line with customer expectations.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a cross-functional team including sales, marketing, design, production, and quality control staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement to drive team performance and achieve departmental goals.
- Provide guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the division's budget, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Monitor expenses, revenue streams, and profitability metrics to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements to optimize financial performance.
Market Analysis and Customer Insights:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior.
- Utilize insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and promotional campaigns to attract and retain customers.
Brand Building and Marketing:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop branding strategies, promotional activities, and advertising campaigns to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
