The Head of Insurance would be responsible for developing the long-term business strategy, direction and focus for establishing the company as the preferred partner of choice in the insurance outsourcing industry in India.

The incumbent will have complete financial responsibility for the Insurance vertical focusing on driving new sales and client partnering efforts for extending footprint and developing robust client networks across the country.

- Develop and drive a roadmap for the insurance business for the organization. This would involve

- Creation of a - go-to-market- strategy for target client segments

- Evaluating market trends, identifying high potential players and developing customized BD plans for building the practice

- Leading the development of all aspects of a clear sales process, from pre-sales through the presentation, deal negotiation and closure, onboarding and institutionalization.

- Partner with internal technology teams to develop the value proposition for Insurance customers

- Prepare pricing strategies according to market segments and customer categories

- Complete ownership for BD, P&L management and delivery for the insurance business.

- Build and nurture senior relationships across leading insurers (life and general) across the country.

Key Attributes:

- A self-starter with a proven experience in successfully building and growing businesses.

- Established track record of success in BD. The individual needs to have strong relationship building skills.

- The individual needs to understand the insurance products well as well the operations associated with it. Strong domain knowledge of the insurance product and industry is important especially to be able to mine existing relationships in the industry as well as build new ones. Individuals with existing networks across seniors/decision makers in the Insurance industry is strongly preferred.

- Needs to have strong influencing skills and the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) and build consensus.

- It is essential for the individual to have deep operational expertise coupled with drive and a strong execution focus. He/ she should be able to roll up sleeves and get involved directly in the execution (cannot be purely a people manager but needs to be a hands-on leader).

- Need time consciousness and discipline to drive completion of activities in a time bound manner

- The individual needs to display strong problem-solving skills and capability to solution especially because this offering is new and the market for the same is large to be mined

- The individual should have a track record of building, developing and leading high-quality teams.

- The individual should display strong professional integrity and ethics.
