About the Client :

Backed by an Indian e-commerce giant, the client is revolutionizing the way to make mobile payments in India. From UPI payments to recharges, money transfers to online bill payments. The client aims to provide a payment solution which is way better than Internet Banking and offers the safest and fastest online payment experience in India.

Background about the Role :

The role involves complete understanding of the Indian Life and Health Insurance space, with good exposure to products and processes. As a Business Head the candidate will have a complete P&L responsibility to manage the Insurance business for the client. Closely interacting with all the insurance companies and then managing the top line for the product through company's sales channels.

Following are some of the key pointers around which the responsibilities are going to revolve :

1. Lead business strategy for Insurance

2. Forge strategic partnerships with leading insurance cos

3. Drive innovation through differentiated product constructs

4. Manage all regulatory & compliance interaction with IRDA / Insurance cos & internal teams

5. Responsible for the overall growth of the category & customer engagement.

Role reports into the Head of Strategic Alliances and is based out of their corporate office in Bangalore.

Candidate from Re-insurance companies (Swiss Re, Munich Re, Scor Re) and Insurance start ups will be preferred.

Desired years of experience 8-15 years.
