Business Head - Hospital/Healthcare (10-18 yrs)
Designation : Business Heads - Cardiac/Oncology/Transplant
Reports to : Facility Director
Qualification : MBA/MHA/MPH
Experience : 10+ years
Increase footfalls, OP to IP conversions, P&L responsibility, drive revenue, Should have some understanding of ops also. ( 20% Operations & 80% business role )
Review MIS: Daily, Weekly and Monthly
- Study and analyze daily reports and make note of the performance
- Take corrective action if necessary and inform the concerned parties.
- Call up concerned people and seek explanations
- Review performance by going through weekly reports
- Go through monthly reports and see performance trends and opportunities for improvements
- Analyze costs and identify cost saving opportunities
Review of marketing and business development activities/initiatives (with marketing Team)
- Review business performance vis-a-vis targets for Oncology.
- Review segment-wise analysis
- Identify strategies for business improvements
- Identify growth and opportunities in terms of products, corporate and direct sales
- Plan for the next month performance along with the marketing team
- Ensure that various departments support the marketing effort in the form of camps, lectures, direct sales to doctors, referrals, large events.
- Guide doctors and other staff on quality of care,
- Get updates from team members/new hires/potential candidates on the happenings in the markets, competitors, competitor strategy and use the market intelligence to build a competitive edge for the hospital.
Delegation and staff management:
- Guide staff from various perspectives-expectations, provide direction and remind team members of the goals, vision and mission of the hospital.
- Ensure professional with desired competencies are taken for the role in mind (trained people to handle appropriate equipment, job etc.)
- Ensure smooth coordination between Doctors and HODs.
- Ensure conflict resolution between various departments/HODs and set up a mechanism for greater coordination and information flow between departments for smooth functioning
Any other responsibility as deemed fit from time to time by the Company/ Director(s)
