Head of Business - Health Sciences Company's Bio-Nutrition & Bio-Agricultural technology and Products

Health Sciences Company: Life Sciences Company providing health care solutions by Bio engineered technology and Products

Classified under different SBU's as Preventive, Predictive and Personnel Healtcare

1. Bio Nutrition targets both pharmaceutical and food market with dietary supplements and nutrition alternatives (Predictive Nutrition)

2. Bio Agricultural targets seed cultivation and processing by genetic and genomic for functional food from plants (Preventive Nutrition)

3. System Biology approach employs dissection of molecular mechanism in the problem and working towards the delivery of innovative solutions (Personalized health care)

- Will closely work with and report to Chairman of the Board to identify long term growth opportunities among all the SBUs including identifying new business opportunities including Intro-preneurial growth.

- He will also work on various Business growth and improvement projects inclusive of B2B & B2C product and technology for overall business growth and development of Health Sciences Company business.

- Business Head will also evaluate existing product portfolio and recommend changes if required and finalize strategy for new products/ new markets.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

- Responsible for research and identification of new opportunities for company's existing and new business.

- Responsible for formulating implementing new product / new business strategies.

- Build Strategic marketing plans for new markets entry.

- Suggest strategy for Key Account for building strong and long relationship.

- Provides inputs for pricing strategy and life cycle management of the products based on product strategy.

- Complete competitors analysis to asses pricing, customer strength, customer connect and suggest strategy for sales to drive revenue.

- Tracks product in terms of demand, availability.

- Ensure consistency of strategy development across the Business and role up to a corporate strategy that integrates the business and functional groups.

- Perform market Segment analysis to provide insight and market needs.

- Support the R&D strategy in terms of new product development, new application.

- Management of Product Life Cycle and effective market penetration for market share.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Chemical Engineer/Bio-technology & Engineering & MBA from premiere institute would be preferable with about 10+ Years minimum relevant experience (Knowledge of genetic science and pharmaceutical will be added advantage)

- Young and dynamic with intro-preneurial skills to think alike, with go getter attitude

- Ability to build effective pricing strategy.

- Ability to assess competitor information and provide tactical inputs to sales.

- Should have exceeded /achieved targets in the previous roles performed

Compensation and Benefices:

Salary commensurate with industry standards + top position in the company + Share of equity of the Company
