Our client is one of the leading players in the FMCG sector with multiple product categories.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Direct the Sales Team and establish Sales Targets Brand Wise / Pack Wise

2. To establish coverage, Distribution and Display objectives in line with the Business Plan and achieve turnover targets, profit targets and market share targets. Help the team in breaking the same Geographically, Monthly, Weekly & Daily

3. Work and implement a training Calendar for all employees in the Sales team inclusive of an Induction program for new recruits.

4. Co-ordinate with the Marketing team and execute all the marketing and brand activities as per the agreed calendar

5. Analyze Stock Movement based on the secondary sales and have a complete control on inventory. Do sales analysis and accurately forecast Sales and Stock requirement and coordinate with Logistics for the same

6. Regularly have financial review with the Accounts Manager to ensure that the Budgeted Top-line and Profit Targets are achieved

7. Have a Clear focus on Traditional Channels to build Distribution, Visibility and volumes

8. Establish Travel and Market Contacts Plan for Self, Direct reportees and entire Sales Team

9. Have Periodic Revision on the Progress of Business, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly. Regularly up-date your immediate supervisor and the marketing team on sales trends, market developments and competition

10. The position has the administrative responsibility of running the carrying & forwarding agent in his territory in co-ordination with logistic and regional accounts manager

11. On quarterly basis do SWOT analysis for your state

12. Ensure that you have budgeted manpower regularly. To attract and retain quality manpower.

Candidate Profile:

1. Must have worked in an FMCG company

2. Must have 15 + years work experience in the sales field

3. MBA in Marketing would be an added advantage

4. In depth Distribution coverage of the West market

5. Must have handled a team
