Role: Business Head - Commodity Finance

Job profile:

Heading the PnL for the business.

Responsible for handling business development, product and credit functions.

Setting up commodity finance business for the organization.

Build Commodity funding, farmer funding, warehouse receipt funding, trade finance business.

Responsible for designing SOP, policy and systems.

Design and head product development for these businesses

Developing basic frame work for Credit underwriting for commodity (agri & non-agri) business proposals by assessing, analysing and interpreting financial information.

Developing and using system driven credit scoring systems for setting of credit limits for clients and monitoring the same with periodicity.

Developing policies and keeping various credit exposures within set risk bearing limits.

Periodical review of client wise commodity wise exposures in the commodity portfolio.

Keeping knowledge of key issues up to date related to commodity (agri & non agri) sector like policies, EXIM, stock limits, compliance issues, legal etc.

Undertaking risk assessment analysis for disbursement.

Making & reviewing procedural and policy changes in credit policy.

Tracking delinquency and coordinating with other verticals for risk mitigation of delinquent accounts.

Devising credit policy for small loans e.g. farmer and agri financing with a view to qualify for direct & indirect agri.

Set up business team with enhanced quality of credit.

Devising customized credit solutions to different categories of clients viz traders, importers, exporters, processors etc.

Periodical visits to important clients.

To interact with the group credit team for smooth working

To develop an echo system where domestic and international funding portfolio can be created.

Funding will be for - Warehouse receipt based funding, import & export facilitation, trade facilitation etc.
