Business Finance Strategy Role - FMCG/Retail

The role will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to support strategic planning and business growth.

The desired candidate must be able to:

- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the company's performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring actual performance against budgeted figures, and making adjustments as needed.

- Prepare and distribute financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other key financial metrics.

- Analyze and monitor cost structures to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize the allocation of resources.

- Build and maintain financial models to support various scenarios, such as mergers and acquisitions, investment decisions, or expansion plans.

- Identify and assess financial risks, and develop strategies to mitigate potential negative impacts.

- Evaluate the return on investment for different projects or initiatives, helping management make informed decisions.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal financial policies.

- Manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidity and optimize the utilization of available funds.

- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and human resources, to provide financial guidance and support.

- Prepare and present financial data and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
