Business Finance Manager - Retail

Summary:

- To lead Business Finance for Flex Retail. To develop an aggressive system and processes to monitor and control business from financial perspective.

- Ensures right margin extraction, ROI and puts controls on overhead spends as per budgets. Must maintain proven results in controlling financial health of organisation, visualize & create future programs for organisation success. Responsible for P & L of organisation. Assist business team in developing, implementing programs & policies designed to increase profits of departments and achieve planned results.

Key Tasks & Responsibility:

Purpose (Control & Guide) : 

- To work closely with business & operations team (category, franchisee relations & warehouse)

- Responsible for ensuring stock loss is within budget & prevent in future

- To prevent and ensure stock loss in future when business is trying new routes to drive sales

- To implement process which helps warehouse in daily closures

- Implements SOP's to ensure weekly audits (book stock vs physical stocks)

- Track all initiatives and their implementation to justify the ROI

- Meets Key vendors/suppliers regularly to tally books

- Co-ordinates with business & franchisee team for smooth payments, credit management & new initiatives for credit management

- Analyze sales trends and ensure right investments on inventory

Accountability and Deliverables:

- Sales and gross profits thru sale items mix, shelf space utilization and customer demographics

- Shrink control/analysis

- RGM (Rupee Gross Margin)/ Margin %

- GMROI (Gross Margin Return on Investment) on asset deployed

- Credit Days and Accounts Receivable

- Budgets

- Month end control and closure

- Generates management reports and shares it with team for action

- Leading quarter, half year and year end process and help generating reports to present to the boar
