Opening with a well known Manufacturing client in India.  Function : Business Excellence  Direct Reporting to : Corporate BE Head  Location : Corporate Office, Noida  Job Purpose :  - Strategize and drive various Business Excellence Initiatives to create additional bottom line and top line impact by successfully executing improvement projects by use of BE improvement methodologies in all domains of business.  Key Responsibilities :  - Create & maintain an infrastructure for sustaining all improvement initiatives  - Interface with the Site Head for understanding the Business strategy to identify the improvement opportunities on manufacturing side using value stream mapping & other Lean tools in line with business needs  - Execute the projects in line with Business requirements to achieve targets with-in decided timelines  - Mentor, review, follow-up to ensure completion of improvement projects through the dedicated team of plant Green Belts & Yellow belts  - Bring in cultural changes by providing training & knowledge management  - Create & implement business level dashboards  - Responsible for streamlining communication flow in line with the business requirements among the entire BU Team / Project Progress / MIS  - Train team members on concepts of Lean Six Sigma deployment  - Facilitate Loss cost mapping and identify improvement opportunity for tangible and intangible gains.  KPIs :  - Excellent understanding of Lean, Six Sigma tools & methodologies and Supply Chain (Certified Black Belt)  - Good knowledge of Business Metrics, Business Functioning  - Working knowledge of Sales, Marketing and Planning function along with  - Supply chain would be preferred  - Manufacturing exposure in chemical manufacturing environment is must  - Project Management knowledge would be an added advantage  - Savings derived out of improvement projects.  Qualifications, Certifications And Experience :  Minimum Qualifications :  Required : Engineering in any discipline (Mechanical Preferred)  Preferred : Post Graduate diploma in Operations / Supply Chain Management  Specific experience :  - 7-12 years in process improvement & optimization.  - Lean Six Sigma & Supply Chain knowledge is essential. Certified Black Belt/ Green Belt  Overall experience :  - 7+ years of experience in operations/ Supply Chain and 2+ yrs in process improvement & optimization.  - Supply Chain certifications  Note : Candidate working with consulting companies presently with Lean Six Sigma subject matter expertise.
