Business Excellence Manager - Auto Industry

We are currently looking for a Business Excellence Manager to join the Lubrication Business of SKF

Purpose of the role:

To drive Businesses Excellence & SKF Production System, methods like Lean, TPM & 5S at Factory level & support implementation to achieve targeted master plan of PQCDSM objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

As a core member of Business Excellence team, will assume the responsibility of creating the continuous improvement culture by developing and implementation of Excellence / Lean / TPM program & other key business Initiatives across the plant

- Drive Value Stream Map, 5S & Visual Management, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Setup changeover, Hoshin Kanri / X matrix creation, Loss Cost matrix, QA/QM Matrix, Standardized Work, TPM and other Lean initiatives across plant

- Develop Training modules / training stations / reference material / documents for Business excellence / Lean / TPM initiatives like JH, 5S, visualization, ECRS, etc. & give training to circle and develop small topic trainers, increase the runs at Gemba.

- Develop Visuals and Kaizen reference for Autonomous Maintenance, 5S circles & Facilitate circles for Horizontal Deployment of best kaizens for focused improvements.

- Educate circles to use BE / Lean / TPM tools correctly (Kaizen Eye, PM Analysis, QM Matrix, Why-Why, Loss Cost Matrix, etc.)

- Processing Data, building right form of relevant statistics for presenting right picture to management related to Business excellence / Lean / TPM progress.

- Develop and circulate MIS at respective level through Power BI, excel, etc.

- JH / AM machine planning, fixing priority preparation of Step Passing and communicate to circles and zonal leaders & JH Step auditing and guiding circle to meet the requirements & Suggest the kaizens ideas for Easy to CLIT

- Enhancing Skill of circle members for Abnormality identification and coaching them to correlate it with the impact on BAD.

- High level of communication, mixing with people, management of support structure, understanding people to build constructive environment for BE deployment

- Arranging R&R events & Managing of support system (R&R articles, Standard BE/TPM stationery, Standard forms & formats, fabrication, training)

- SPS (SKF Production System) Implementation & certification

- Savings through Kaizens

- Development of Subject matter experts

- 5S across the factory

Competencies: (Required & Preferred both)

- Hands on experience of TPM / Lean all tool implementation

- Training module development and delivery

- Effective communication

Candidate Profile:

1. Graduate / Mechanical Engineering.

2. Min. 6 to 8 yr. experience for Graduate in 5S / TPM / Lean Implementation in TPM Excellence / Deming Prize awarded company.
