Business Development & Strategy Manager - Mergers & Acquisition - IIM/ISB/XLRI/FMS/MDI

Looking for a candidate who could drive entire Mergers and Acquisitions process to ensure growth of the organisation

- Inorganic growth - Support in identification of suitable targets & executing the deal through Financial evaluation and due diligence activities.

- Organic growth - Interact with Indian business heads for preparation of their strategic plans and help create implementation path. Critical evaluation of major CAPEX proposals

- Macro-economic review: Analyze the economy and growth drivers for the customer segments viz. iron & steel, cement, power, petrochemical, paper, paint etc.; challenge key assumptions and validate strategic and business plans with business drivers and potential opportunities

- Market Research: Help identify & develop relationships with third party consultants. Develop actionable points based on the market research

- Competition Scan: Closely monitor potential target companies, conduct Balance Sheet analysis, SWOT analysis and identify areas of synergy

- Coordinate with Corporate Functions viz. Legal, Tax, Treasury, HR of entities for integration and optimization

- Establish connection and coordinate with external agencies as directed by Chairman Imerys India

- Provide all other relevant support to Chairman Imerys India

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Engineering + MBA (Finance) (from premiere institute) 8-10 years of experience

Atleast one Merger & Aquisition deal experience

Key Competencies -

- Market Research & Benchmarking analysis

- Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss & Ratio analysis

- NPV, IRR, ROCE calculations

- Review legal documentation like MoU, SPA etc.

- Target due diligence and reporting to Sr. Management for decision making.

- Taxation & Legal framework in India

- Macro & micro economic indicators and policies

- Presentation & Excel skills
