Openings for Lead Business Development Role for Footwear Product.

Experience : 6-9 Years

Location : Delhi, Gurgoan and Noida

Education : IIM, IIT institutes or MBA with Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 colleges with Foot Wear Industry Experience must

Required Skills :

- Taken up city level roles and has exceptional people management skills. This role may require one to manage a direct team of upto 10 people and indirect team of over 100 field business development executives

- Should be preferably an IIT or NIT graduate or from premier MBA colleges only

- 6-9 years relevant experience into hard core field sales, preferably someone from retail format in FMCG or associated industries

- Excellent data analysis, data interpretation and first principle problem solving approach

- Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and a generalist do-what-it-takes mind-set

- A demonstrated record of positively owning and leading initiatives and continuous process improvement mind-set

- Having prior familiarity of Bangalore market and ability to converse in local language with buyers or sellers would be an added advantage

Job Description :

- Responsible to drive Top line and Bottom line in alignment with the company strategy and for respective category.

- Assortment planning through Market visits by understanding buyers insight, seasonality changes, brand and competition strategies.

- Finalizing right mix of supplier/distributors to meet geographical sales demand with periodical review on brand performance and driving vendor relation

- Developing joint plans with suppliers to ensure appropriate investment budget for enhancing category growth and the return on investment for mutual benefits.

- Plan and design the launch of new product line. Monitor and evaluate success of launches and accordingly plan for shelf space at stores.

- Responsible for Feature (mailer) planning every month and drive events/merchandise through the flexible space available in stores

- Develop quarterly marketing calendar & manage various activations for category development like promoters activity, sampling, mega displays, flyers, and newspaper ads, various seasonal and festive events in line with same.

- Assessing business performance by maintaining tracker to analyze GMV, sales achievement for events, promotions and product launches.

- Coordination with supply chain to ensure vendor fill rates and In-stocks are maintained with minimal working capital, with finance for closing monthly category margins, quarterly vendor reconciliations and with Store Operations for solving customer queries, concerns and other operational issues.
