Business Development Role - Apparels Business - Export Market

Qualified Management and Engineering graduate with a minimum of 15+ years of Business Development, Operations & Management experience with an Apparel Export background is required. General Management experience in the areas of operations, cross-functional activities, and P&L management is much preferable. Primarily strong skills in Business Development and some exposure to business operations to enhance the size of the business are required.

Job Description

(Responsibilities) :

- Responsible for driving overall P&L, sales growth, and profitability while managing the business operations from Noida.

- Monitoring and further development of Export Sales operations of the Woven Garment division in the international market.

- Make sure new apparel collections are regularly introduced in the market.

- Penetrate the existing market and search for new markets for Woven products.

- Providing timely and regular feedback to senior management regarding the performance of all apparel lines.

- Strong experience in growing sales along with managing cross-functional teams in the Export market.

- Successfully implementing company policy and growth strategy developed together with the board. Directing strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the company.

- Closely monitoring the operating and financial results against plans and budgets.

- Representing the company to major customers.

- Managing and developing an effective executive team.

- Ensures a safe and pleasant working environment for all employees.

- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

Desired Profile

- With a minimum of 15+ years of experience in Business Development for the Apparel industry and at least 5 years in top management positions dealing with general management, P&L, sales, business development, plant operations, and revenue management,

- Past experience with working in Woven clothes for the international market is required.

- The candidate should be a solution-oriented, reliable, and communicative leader with a modern mindset.

- Good understanding of P&L and other functions required to successfully operate at the facility.

- Strong understanding of customers and market dynamics is required

- Good network with local business partners

- Very good written and oral English skills
