- Incumbent to be based in India with extensive travel to Middle East & Africa/APAC

- Level: E5

Role Definition:

The Business Development Manager for Telecom CoE will be responsible for developing the telecom vertical of HCL in the Middle East & Africa and APAC region. Reporting to the business unit head, the role encompasses the following:

Responsibilities:

- Sell to telecom SPs in the domain of CTO or CIO

- Expand the business by building quick relationship with telecom partners in the following space:

Core network

IT infrastructure

New edge applications

- Business Development Planning: Develop strategies while examining risks and potentials

- Support the sales team

- Improve HCL's market position in the Middle East & Africa and APAC region

Key Pre-requisites:

- 15+ years of BD experience mostly in the telecom domain

- Extensive market knowledge

- Sound academic background

- Demonstrate ability to:

Build relationships in the telecom space

Be a highly spirited and energetic contributor

- Open to extensive travelling across APAC & Middle east
