Job Brief:

One of our esteemed clients is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join the team. The primary responsibility of this role is to drive staffing sales specifically focused on research candidates for feasibility studies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the research landscape, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in business development within the staffing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:

- Identify and reach out to potential clients, including companies and firms, who require research candidates for feasibility studies etc

- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and competitors.

Relationship Building:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients through regular communication and meetings.

- Understand clients' staffing needs for research projects and provide tailored solutions.

Sales Strategy:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.

- Collaborate with internal teams to align staffing solutions with client requirements.

Feasibility Search:

- Work closely with clients to understand the feasibility requirements for research projects.

- Source and present qualified research candidates, ensuring a seamless match between candidate skills and project demands.

Proposal Development:

- Prepare and present compelling proposals outlining staffing solutions tailored to the client's research feasibility needs.

- Negotiate contracts and terms to secure new business opportunities.

Market Intelligence:

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the research staffing market.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance and contribute insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- 1 to 2+ years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in the staffing industry.

- Familiarity with the research and feasibility study landscape.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel for client meetings as needed.

- Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales-related software.

- A self-motivated individual with a proactive and strategic approach to business development.
