Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. Lead the sales and marketing function for India

2. Identify new sales opportunities throughout India by using creative innovative means.

3. Guiding the social media and other marketing agencies/staff to promote company name and services.

4. Develop negotiating strategies to close deals.

5. Attend specific industry events to meet prospects and to represent our company.

6. Manage the sales process from lead generation to handover to operations.

7. Ensure proactive response to prospective and existing client needs.

8. Create proposals, contracts, and any further required documentation.

9. Respond to RFQ/RFP's and requests for information.

10. Coordinate with management as applicable to determine client/project fees.

11. Nurture business relationship through the establishment of trust, credibility, and honest feedback towards clients on an ongoing basis.

12. Provide input on new services to the marketing department and other sales staff as applicable.

13. Manage sales managers in other geographies

14. Be a part of the country leadership executive team.

15. Other duties as business needs require.

Associated Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:

- Minimum 4-8 years proven sales and marketing experience in a service selling industry

- Preferred selling experience to sales and Marketing clients in Retail, Automotive, Hospitality, Banking.

- Experience in selling an innovative service/ Concept selling

- Experience in B2B Sales is Must.

- Should be able to guide his team to achieve sales targets.

- Ideal person should have high I.Q and strong leadership skills

Competency Skills :

- Need to be strong on Negotiation and Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Identifying Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, and Professionalism.

- Keen understanding of the sales process from lead generation to the handover of projects to operations staff.

- Possession of drive, motivation, strong decision-making skills, and acute attention to Detail.

- Strong presentation skills; confidence with the persuasive public presentation.

- Ability to acquire and apply detailed knowledge of the mystery customer research Industry.

- Ability to identify issues and solve problems using available resources.

- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and specifically at all levels of the Organization.

- Ability to see the business through the prospect's eyes; to identify with client's needs and Concerns and to provide answers in a positive, helpful way.

- Ability to maintain cost awareness of individual activity and keep in line with set budgets.

- Ability to keep accurate and accessible tailored documentation to meet clients- needs.
