JOB DESCRIPTION & JOB SPECIFICATION

Designation : BDM FOR AFRICAN MARKETS

Reporting to : Director,

Educational Qualification: 1) B.Pharma, M.Pharm, MBA

Experience - 3+

CTC - 10.00 to 12 .00 Lacs PA

Work Experience:

1) Exceptional planning, problem solving & interpersonal skills.

2) Good analytical skills combined with ability to recognise and implement plans

Primary Responsibilities : To Identify the good importers, distributors in the selected African Markets. Identify & select the products to register & launch after consultation with importers/ distributors for the respective country/market. Follow up with concerned Authorities/ Customers to expedite the registration process in the respective country. After registration, he will take orders of the products from Buyers on agreed payment terms by achieving the set sales targets.

Required Skills :

1) Must have good knowledge of African Markets.

2) Good Communication, Presentation & Interpersonal Skills.

3) Good Planning & Organisational Skills.

4) Good written & verbal communication Skills.

5) Ability to influence & gain agreement of prospective Clients.

6) Self Motivation and desire for hard work and success.

7) Be responsible for own self-development, especially keeping abreast of current Thinking.

8) Must have good relations/ contacts with Good Importers/ Distributors of Pharma/ Healthcare Products from African Countries.

9) Must have ethics of Team Working.

Key Result Areas

Internal:

Annual, Quarterly and Monthly Objectives will be set by the Director and reviewed regularly against performance measures detailed against the objectives.

External:

Must identify Good Importers/ Distributors, Identify potential products for respective market & achieve the sales targets.

Job Description:

1) To operate within any given budgetary parameters e.g. with Travel, Stay etc.

2) To Adhere to all company policies & guidelines.

3) To be proactive in all aspects of the Job Role.

4) To ensure that all processes & procedures are adhered to & completed in a timely manner.

Primary Internal Interactions :

1) To provide client feedback to Director in a positive and constructive way on wins/losses.

2) To prepare and present high quality client proposals in a clear, structured and customer focused format.

3) To provide feedback to departments on quality, costs, design such that client needs are met.

4) To ensure that all communication with prospective clients is focused and Appropriate.

5) To work with other areas of business departments ensuring necessary lead times are understood in order to deliver a quality proposal.

6) To work across business managing relationships with other departments at all stages of the sales process.
