THE CANDIDATE
This Business Development role is a role within the Business Development team with a primary focus on building new business. The Business Development Manager should have 7-9 years- experience in business development in a digital agency or a marketing services agency with strong understanding of the changing technology landscape in the domain of consumer marketing. The candidate will have a strong grasp of the marketing & media industry. Telecoms &/or mobile marketing and digital marketing exposure would be desired fit.
Desired Skills and Experience
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for a variety of new and existing business activities including:
Lead generation
- Leverage existing network of clients, partners and colleagues to generate new business opportunities.
Business Development
- Provide existing clients with strategic advice and business solutions that generate new revenues for the agency.
- Drive new business opportunities by harnessing the strength of mobile as a marketing channel for new clients to ensure mobile is part of their marketing mix and a more strategic view is considered for a long term mutually beneficial relationship.
Pitch lead
- Play a leading role when pitching for new work and presenting proposals to all levels of seniority.
Profile and networking
- Maintain personal and Team profile within the market, be that via regular industry contribution, event speaking and event networking.
Measurement of success
- Revenue from new and existing clients over a 12 month period based on agreed targets (for which a reward scheme will be in place, providing a contribution on and above basic)

This role requires an innovative self-starter; able to work with senior stakeholders across a Global business and with a high degree of autonomy.
