Business Development Manager LV Switchboards (WEST)

Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager for LV Panels in the western region, the primary responsibilities encompass the entire spectrum of order management, from securing budgeted orders and overseeing execution to ensuring timely project delivery and payment collection. The focus is on enhancing customer satisfaction through adept management of sales and execution-related activities and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take charge of budgeted order booking and sales (invoicing) for LV Switchboards in the Maharashtra and Gujarat region.

- Directly engage in or oversee both direct and indirect sales, as well as manage project resources.

- Facilitate technical discussions with customers to achieve technical closure, leading to subsequent commercial negotiations.

- Demonstrate a keen understanding of the commercial aspects of LV Switchboard sales, exhibiting a sharp commercial acumen.

- Collaborate with cross-functional business teams and maintain relationships with important clients.

- Lead the sales process, actively drive project execution, and manage associated risks within contractual parameters to meet or exceed cost, schedule, and P&L targets.

- Ensure compliance with company standards, as well as relevant laws and regulations.

- Oversee payment collections for customer contracts.

- Manage customer relationships, fostering effective communication to support positive outcomes.

- Drive process adherence and coordinate teams across functions such as Estimation, Marketing, Design, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, and After Sales Service.

- Collaborate with branch offices for order booking, customer interaction, and project execution based on individual project specifications.

- Resolve issues promptly, addressing concerns related to contract adherence, project quality, or timelines.

- Demonstrate strategic and tactical knowledge to deliver excellence and foster continuous growth.

Desired Experience:

- Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience, with a special focus on sectors like Metro rail, Airports, Commercial Infrastructure, Industry, and hospitals.

- Previous experience in these sectors is highly preferable.

- Establish a strong network among consultants, specifiers, EPC companies, leading government departments, and corporates.

- Display in-depth knowledge of LV Switchboards and Switchgear technologies, along with an understanding of emerging trends, market dynamics, and competition.

- Be a self-starter and go-getter with a proactive approach to developing new customer segments and achieving results.
