Business Development Manager - Logistics Services Sales

Details about the position:

Position: Business Development Manager

Location: Mumbai - Goregaon (Corporate Office)

Reporting to: Sr. Vice President

Requisites:

- Any graduate with 5+ years of experience in Project Business Development with through knowledge in Logistics Services & Logistics Business Development in Project Sector

- Should have logistics BD experience with EPCs, Heavy Engineering Equipment Manufactures, Oil& Gas companies & Project Management Consultants

- Should have sound knowledge in Surface / Road, Ocean, Air Project forwarding service

- Should have good contacts & relations in this specific trade with proven track record

- Should have excellent communication skill on both written & oral along with negotiation skills

- Should have Logistics sales experience with EPC companies

- Should have Logistics sales experience with PMCs

- Should have Logistics sales experience with Heavy Equipment Manufactures

- Should have Logistics sales experience with exploration & production, Pipe line & storage (Mid-stream), Refinery & Fertilizers (downstream companies )

- Should have Logistics sales experience with engineering equipment's manufactures

- Should have Knowledge & experience in Road cargo service (modular trailer + mechanical trucks)

- Should have Knowledge & experience in sea cargo service (container + break bulk + heavy lift+ lcl)

- Should have Knowledge & experience in Air cargo service (general freight + dangerous goods + charter)

- Should have Knowledge & experience in Route Survey, Transport Engineering Service on Loading & lashing

- Should have Good analytical skills

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for monthly RFQ generations

- Responsible for BDM related activities

- Responsible for handling accounts

- Responsible for handling RFQ's teams, pricing teams & costing teams

- Responsible for quarterly order & gross profit development

- Responsible for timely bill submission & collection
