As a Business development manager, you will develop a business development strategy focused on financial gain and to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities: - Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. - Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives - Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments. - Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones. - Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events - Managed revenue target of Rs. 5 Cr. - Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. - Maintain a sales forecasting capability which will in the short-term make possible efficient scheduling, provide superior customer service, and controlling costs and in the long-term, provide information for business planning, resource planning and budgeting. - Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met. - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. - Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. - To write reports and provide feedback to upper management about what is and is not working. Qualification: - Proven 5+ years of work experience as a business development manager or sales executive primarily in IT solution sales. - Experience in health, social impact and pharma sector desired - Excellent communication Skills (Written and Spoken) - Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems - Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software - International exposure is a plus. - Functional Area: Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
