Job Title: BDM (IT Services Sales)

Location: Bangalore / Mumbai

Experience: Minimum of 6 to 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on IT services.

Job Brief:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BDM (IT Services Sales) to join our client's dynamic sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of their comprehensive suite of IT services, including consulting, managed services, and support. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of IT services, have a proven track record in B2B sales, and be adept at building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Planning

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.

- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

- Prospecting and Lead Generation

- Identify and qualify potential clients through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage campaigns and events for lead generation.

- Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and aligning their IT services to meet those needs.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on IT solutions.

Product Knowledge

- Possess a deep understanding of their IT services, including consulting, infrastructure solutions, managed services, and support.

- Effectively communicate the technical aspects and business benefits of their services to clients.

- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that showcase the value proposition of their IT services.

- Customize presentations to address specific client challenges and requirements.

- Negotiation and Closing

- Lead contract negotiations, address objections, and close sales deals to meet or exceed targets.

- Collaborate with the legal and finance teams to ensure seamless contract execution.

- Collaboration

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and customer support, to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Provide feedback from the field to inform service enhancements and improvements.

- Reporting and Analysis

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM tools.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market feedback.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the IT services sector.

- Strong understanding of IT services, technology trends, and industry best practices.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
