Business Development Manager  Summary of Position:  - As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for penetrating into existing customer accounts, grow each account anywhere from 1MM to 5MM revenue.   - You should have demonstrated the capability to manage multiple accounts up to 5MM in revenue. You need to develop, define, negotiate, and close new business deals/ relationships.   - You need to focus 75% of time on existing accounts growth and 25% on identifying new customers and opportunities.   Reports to: CEO  Key Responsibilities:  - Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts  - Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers- expectations  - Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts  - Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones  - Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings  - Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.  - Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential customers; discovering and exploring opportunities.  - Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities.  - Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations  Qualifications:  - 7+ years of experience in the software industry, with at least 3+ years of proven experience in business development activities  - Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business "by the numbers". Must be metrics-driven  - Proven track record of success selling in a highly competitive environment  - Ability to create and communicate a compelling vision to senior executives, with capability to leverage logic, experience, facts, data, and passion to influence others  - Experience in business development for Fortune 500 clients  - Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills and the ability to express thoughts logically and succinctly  - Experience using Microsoft Excel to do analysis and reporting  - Proven domain expertise in Financial Services  - Bachelor's degree required, MBA is preferred  Location: Ideal candidates will be located out of the office in Mumbai and will require travel.  Swetha Reddy.
