Business Development Manager - International Business - eCommerce

- The main responsibility of the incumbent would be to do extensive market work in focus markets to understand sales opportunities and customer preferences.

- He/she will be responsible for locating or proposing potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities both in General Trade and Modern Trade in various international markets.

- The job holder will manage and collaborate with existing partners and distributors to ensure continuous growth of existing business across all product categories.

- As part of discharging the above responsibilities, he/she will screen potential business deals/dealers by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

- The job holder will be responsible for closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.

- The job holder will also collaborate extensively with the Brand team to ensure taht the Brand is leveraged to the fullest and the financial objectives are met. He/she will also liaison with cross functional teams like R&D, Purchase, Production and Commercial to ensure smooth business operations.

- It is also important that the job holder develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new markets with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.

- He/She has to identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements. It is also mandatory for the job holder to have updated industry knowledge by participating in trade fairs, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
